There’s a pretty herbal and mentholated freshness that greets the senses as the 2019 Teroldego opens in the glass. Further coaxing brings forward bright strawberry and cherry, along with rosy florals and crushed stone. It’s soft-textured yet potent, with tart red berries and mineral underpinnings propelled by juicy acidity. Finishes fresh and juicy, leaving sweet tannins to linger. There’s no need to wait on this vibrant yet characterful vintage. (Eric Guido, Vinous, June 2022)

Tart and vigorous with the tannic/acid profile of a white wine. Pleasant spice and light syrah-like notes. Clean and delicious.

Deep colored youthful and primary wine with a great fruit intenisty soft tannins and fresh vibrant acidity that brings structure. Dark and red berries with a slight tartness, dark cherries, dark plums, strawberries and cranberries, blue florals and á twist of pepper and a slight earthy funk Palate is dry with a hich structuring acidity, soft tannins and light to medium body. High fruit intensity and a fresh and invigorating acidicty keeps the wine intact throughout a medium + lenght finish.

Maybe my favorite vintage of this wine so far. Inky as always. Violets and loads of just barely ripe but still tart black & blue fruit: blackberry, black currant, black plum, black cherry, blueberry, with a subtle smoke/incense quality. Racy acid. Cashmere tannins. Really pretty stuff.

Needed a wine to pair with chicken thighs roasted with feta and green olives and this called out for some reason (and worked pretty well). Definitely one to chill. Nice minerally subdued fruit and good acid. Tannins are pretty light. Nice.
