Have had the7 year old, the 12 year old, the 18 year but the first time for this 25 year old rum from Nicaragua. Quite dark in colour - probably showing the extra age in oak casks. Sooty caramel aromas that translate to the palate. Resinous and oh so smooth. The palate is so rich the alcohol heat is not apparent with a small block of ice. Love these Flor de Cana Rums - have an 18 year left in the cellar for the upcoming winter.

Excellent caramel rum flavors that caress the palate. Elegant silkiness. Long soft finish

Was given this by a local who brought it back to the States. Serious caramel and molasses along with a hint of coffee. It is smoooooth. It’s low proof compared to the barrel bourbons so the finish is light.
