This 8 year old Zinfandel is past its prime, but still drinkable. Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim. Sweet nose and a little oxidized. Showing red and black fruits with light wood, raisins, tomatoes, tobacco, chocolates, coffee and peppercorn. Short finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries. 84 points. $25.
