Latest vintage from imho a great producer, this wine is rather dark in color for the variety, ruby red with brick hues, clear; boquet of flowers and a concentrated dark-fruity nose with cherries, tobacco leaves, tar, and some light chocolate; rich tannic on the palate with dried dates and cherries, and a long chest burning delicious finish. Had with Danish and French cheeses and Spanish ham. Finally Friday!
