There’s village and then there’s village. Gibourg made fabulous 2012’s and at age 12, the Vosne village is showing superbly, with seamless layers of fruit, mineral and spice, with the concentration of the vintage and the elegance and finesse of the site and winemaking yielding the perfect combination. In a great spot.

Haven’t had many 2012 red burgs but this one is showing very well. Incredibly juicy wine, bursting with bright red fruit with love underlying acidity and tension. Excited to watch this one evolve.
