Sunday funday with a little Viognier… Aromatics and flavors offer pronounced notes of rose, elderflower, geranium alongside wet stone, honey, beeswax, orange peel, tangerine, spiced pear, nutmeg. The body and mouthfeel are rich and creamy. As a Vin de Pays — IGP Des Collines Rhodanienne — by Domaine Georges Vernay (winemaker Christine Vernay) it has all of the trappings of a Condrieu at a more affordable price. Cheers!
