Grenache from Catalonia from winemaker Richard Case who makes Dave Phinney’s D66 project out of Maury. The donkey is the symbol of Catalonia thus the label. Beautiful red color and fresh on the palate upon opening. Starts to be a touch oxidative on the second day but still possessing great fruit. Have loved the other wine from Pertuisane and this is also a great example of Grenache from this region.
