Dark ruby color. Incredibly ripe and loaded with oak on the nose along with aromas of cooked cherries and vanilla. Cherry compote also on the pallet with heavy doses of vanilla, caramel, black licorice, chocolate and baking spices. Rich and concentrated. Long and earthy finish. Smooth and velvety tannins. The oak is just a bit too ever-present. Thank you Chris B!
