See 3 previous tasting notes on this wine which are still consistent with this tasting. This has a short drinking window. A whiff of passion fruit no doubt reflecting the warmer 2015 vintage in Bordeaux. Tasted again 38 weeks later on 27 June 2022 with consistent notes. Passion fruit.

Mid Lemon to pale gold in colour. Oak maturation in the background but is there discreetly with a vanilla note amongst the citrus aromas. Also an oxidative note. The palate is lemon and lime with plenty of citric acid nicely balanced by the oak. On the 2nd night notes of Quince and mandarin - quite supple on the palate.

Tasted at least twice before as recently as August 2019. Previous notes apply. This was quite delicious with the small oak component adding perfectly balanced texture. Made for earlier consumption.

Colour of mid Lemon with green tinges. Aromas of mouldy Apple with dust and honey. My wife noted Geranium and cut grass (and generally loved the wine). Perfectly judged oak influence which doesn’t intrude. The next day after use of VacuVin different aromas of grapefruit and honeysuckle. Really must drink more White Bordeaux. Had another bottle 13 weeks later on 18th August 2019 with consistent notes. Slippery mouth feel. Minimal oak influence. Great wine with oysters.

Nose: ripe pear, some oak, a hint of smoke, limestone, lemon pith, yellow apple, apple pie (crust), brioche Palate: Decidedly less complex. Oxidized lemon juice, a touch of oak, salty hard pretzels.

2015. Wonderful peachy-vanilla nose. Tasted also a bit of lime. Purchased when I was told that this was one of the last white Bordeaux wines by winemaker Denis Dubourdieu, intriguing story so I had to try it.
