Coffee rye with baked, black currants, dried blackberry, cherrywood, cedar, light pepper, potable, African violet, fig, sarsaparilla and thyme. Grippy, grainy tannins awash in tart black cherry, cinnamon and savory. Young and green with tight tart edges, but open just enough to appreciated the complexities. Underrated sleeper vintage that just might come together. Finish is obfuscated at this juncture. Lovely nose of slow cooked beef and heirloom pork, red and black roses, brown bread stuffing, fine tabak, vanilla-in-bread, dusty black cherry, dried black currant and espresso powder. Black olive rounds the palate in a textural wave that intensifies to charred grape gravy, very sharp forest berry, lavender, holly, pine nettle, and sage. A blend of 65% Cab Sauv, 30% Merlot and 5% Petit Verdot. Dark Ruby with ripe fruit aromas & herb notes. On the palate black cherry & blackberry, currant-like, with tobacco, cacao and smoky oak notes. Dusty fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit and earthy mineral tones, just starting to drink well but will last for then next decade+. Tasting Sample!

Deep purple with a hint of brick. Cassis and leather and meat in the nose. Pencil graphite cassis violet and a little tar. Rich jammy black fruit. Delicious. Serving with Prime grade rib roast. Sorry to have only one bottle

Grym producent såklart men årgången tycks vunnit kampen här. Har riktigt fina beståndsdelar men inget starkt samspel. Lite inne i en tunnel, känns sluten. Samtidigt som riktigt bra täcken dyker upp stundvis, men dovt. Bara vänta och hoppas för de som hade råd med fler flaskor.
