2010 1st label. Dark ruby. 55 merlot, 40 Cabernet Sauvignon and 5 petit Verdot. On the nose, leather, truffle, forest floor, plum. On the palate, cherry, caramel, oak, vanilla. Complex with good depth of flavor. Medium- Long finish. 9.6. Can buy at total wine.

2hr decant. Dark purple color. Nose has menthol, oak, and dark cherries. The merlot really shows through on the palate and in the texture. Drinking young. Really enjoyed it!

Decanted briefly as the first sip was already pleasant. It tastes young but very smooth and balanced. Dark fruit, fruity definitely, mildly earthy. Dark chocolate? must come back to this in a few years.
