Decade(s) from being ready, this will be something special in its time. Super dense and layered, showing waves of savory elements - iron, pencil lead, iodine, bitter cocoa, smoky charcoal. There's some dark fruit and licorice underneath, but it will need time...time...time to unfold. A delicious, old school BDX in the making.

We had it on a diner with friends. Food was a bit of a disappointment considering the reputation (and the price tag) but the bottle was frankly excellent. Tell tale claret which is delivering the goods now but no rush.
