Medoc medoc medoc medoc for days. Medium body, higher acid, fills in nicely w bell peppery blackberries. Finish is long carried by more chalky tannins felt in the end. I was mixed about whether I like wines like this much anymore but it is winning me over.

Recommended to me after saying I don’t love Bordeaux blends (or at least younger ones I’ve had). This was “tight” and much prefer California cabs/blends that have more fruit. Was still enjoyable and despite what I was told, suspect part of problem is it probably isn’t ready to drink?
