Post dinner wine for me and wifey after 12 for dinner. This is youthful elegance. Deep dark fruit and young heat and tannins. As it opened it showed its true character of structure and substance and showed prune and raisin and even pepper and cinnamon. My other 5 bottles will sit for awhile. Happy thanksgiving

The tannins are already integrating quite nicely with this wine. There is a very nice balance of the ripe black currant and other dark fruits with the earthiness and minerality. The finish is lengthy with lingering fruit and leather. This vintage is more restrained than '09 but has the same amount of complexity and concentration.
