Color is pretty dark purple with a touch of ruby. Nose is nice with sweet oak, tobacco leaves, ripe grapes, vanilla, cherry, more oak, powerful alcohol, and a bit dried strawberry. Taste is silky with zesty note, lots of oak, good amount of tannins, some dark fruits, and tobaccos. Aftertaste shows yet again a lot of oak, slightly off-dried, a touch of vanilla, warmth from alcohol, and good flavors. Just a bit too much of oak. Other than that, quite enjoyable.

It’s back! After a couple so so vintages, the 16 is showing strong with silky tannins and lots of fruit.

The 2016 is out! Plus a sexy new label. Unlike the 2015, this vintage does not disappoint. So silky smooth. Rich and lush. Lots of great blackberry fruit.
