Syrupy. Big blueberry syrup. Great for PN drinkers who like Syrah.

From the Wagner Family. Ruby with berry fruit aromas and herb scents. On the palate cherry and cranberry flavors with earthy notes and floral spice. Good balance, soft texture on lingering finish ending with earthy tones. Very nice, good value.

Owner and Winemaker Joe Wagner’s agricultural roots as a lifelong grapegrower and winemaker. Ruby with black berry fruit aromas and sweet spice notes. On the palate blueberry & blackberry flavors with vanilla oak notes, well balanced. Soft sweet tannins, lingering ending with fruit and spice notes. Very nice. Great value. Tasting Sample. Met Joe Wagner at a tasting in CT.

Blueberry, herbs and cola. Very “syrupy,” ripe and fruity. Heavy bodied with firm tannins. Have to think there is something other than Pinot Noir blended in to this one. Not typical PN.

This is pretty mediocre for $20. Heavy, almost jammy, a bit more reminiscent of a syrah than a pinot noir.
