First off, this label. Definitely stands out in a crowd. Light straw color in the glass with effusive perlage. The nose is a stream of pure joy with lemons and limes and quite zesty. Fresh baguettes and strong floral notes to be found here. Wet stone minerality and of course, so much chalk. This is a really swell champagne. Pure and refined with plenty of complexity and character. Zippy acidity and showing some true power, as well. A Blanc de Blancs from Bouzy because why the heck not? Very nicely structured and an almost elegant mouthfeel. Plenty of citrus and the aforementioned chalk on the tongue with sea spray and lightly buttered toast. The finish is long and super pleasing and honestly, I just want some more.
