A blend of 82% Cab Sauv, 6% Malbec, 6% Merlot, 3% Petite Verdot, & 3% Cab Franc, aged 18 months in 70% new French oak. Deep Ruby with aromas of black and blue fruits. Palate shows blueberries & blackberries with vanilla spice. Warming tannins, toasty oak, cacao & leather on the long finish. Nice one, but pricy at $50. A Better price point should be $30-$35. Tasting Sample.

The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon (Napa Valley) is fabulous. Rich, plummy and forward, the Amici Napa Valley Cabernet makes a terrific introduction to the vintage. Even better, it is incredibly fairly priced. Succulent dark cherry, plum, mocha, spice and licorice are kicked up in this fleshy, open-knit Cabernet Sauvignon. Drink it over the next decade. Amici does a great job with this white label. Good nose of blackberry / vanilla, a little round on the mouthfeel but the fruit - plum / cherry / licorice give good dimension.
