This Cabernet Sauvignon blend from Israel is very tasty. Drinking like a 10 year old Bordeaux now. Showing black fruits with wood, earth, vegetables, spices, wet leaves, vinaigrette, coffee, black tea, earth, forest floor, green vegetables, graphite and peppercorn. Medium plus in body with medium acidity and long legs. Nice finish with spices and round tannins. Good right out of the bottle and better as it opens up. Only after 3 hours of airtime tannins come out. Delicious with good structure. Aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Sirah. Kosher. 14.5% alcohol by volume. 92 points.

Dark ruby in color with a wide reddish rim. Strong nose of black currants, black plums, wood, vanilla, barnyard, vegetables, dark coffee, pencil lead, spices, black pepper, earth and leather. Full bodied with medium acidity and long legs. Dry on the palate with plums, black currants, coffee, oak, cloves, earth, vegetables, graphite, spices, bitter herbs, peppercorn, dark chocolates and tobacco. Medium finish with medium tannins and tangy cranberries. This is a delicious and interesting Cabernet Sauvignon /Petite Sirah blend from Israel. Fruity with lots of earth notes. Feels like a blend of new and old world wine. Well balanced and very tasty. This six-year-old tastes very much like a Washington State Syrah, which surprised me. Good by itself or with food. Good right out of the bottle, and better as it opens up. Wine Enthusiasts 91 points. I paired it with Brie cheese and crackers. A blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon and 50% Petite Sirah. Aged for 12 months in French Oak barrels. Kosher. Not Mevushal. 14.5% alcohol by volume. 91 points. $25.
