Loads of terroir. Earthy, loam, mushroom, braised meat, leather. Big fruit but fades to bitter earthy notes quickly. Good balance.

Beautiful, deep ruby red. I don't usually mention that a wine has legs because all wines have legs. However, this beauty has such a pleasant viscosity I'll just say it has long, sexy legs that take a while to form in the glass. Anyway, the nose shows cedar, tobacco, sage, bay leaf and various other interesting aromas. Flavors of raspberry and black cherry, flint, leather, and more cedar. Excellent balance between fruit, alc, tannin and acid, and a long finish. I really enjoyed this with dinner.

Plenty of earth and dirt lead the charge with ripe and jammy dark fruit undertones. Decant her for a good hour and fire up the grill!
