Golden with hints of toast and sweet lemon with a touch of sour fruit. Lovely and clear. Classic champagne. From mag

Drinking fresher and deeper on second go. Note to self: Atlanta country club types don't like vintage bubbles with hints of sherry going on

Toasty brioche yeasty nose. Rich opulent palate with delicious caramel notes. Fabulous.

This 09 bottling really exceeded my expectations. Even parts PN/Chard, all from gran cru villages, this showcase the long aging (in this case 9 years) and non-malo that are the signature house style beautifully. Red berries, apple, and lemon custard grace the slight nutty nose. Creamy mousse. On the palate it was supple yet bright, with a long energetic floral finish. Savory, fresh and precise.

Surprisingly among the favorites at Wally's bubbly event yesterday. For under a Benjamin to boot, crazy value. Thanks, Lanson distributor guy!

Brioche, honey, great body, more subtle bubbles and texture. Overall very good.

High-toned acidity supported by a soft, creamy body. Hazelnut, lemon meringue and butterscotch linger through a bright, satisfying finish.
