The straw colored wine offers a bountiful nose, full of floral notes, citrus, stone fruit and a decent helping of oak spice. The mouthfeel is full and creamy, yet with an acidity that is just short of racy. The fruity palate is draped with enough oak so that you know it’s there, but not so much that it is a bother. La Crema has a nice sipping Chardonnay here.

Brought by a guest to lunch last Sunday who adores this wine. I have always found it over oaked and very ripe fruit but this was a much better showing. Still a big barrel ferment character and stone fruit notes but not ultra ripe. M minus acid and not for long keeping but a crowd pleaser right now. Great QPR.

Opens up after getting closer to room temperature for ~30 minutes. Good Chard, but not great. #2015

Drank 4/22/21. Scents of pear, baked apple, and toasted oak are quite nice. Palate with toasted oak, lemon curd, and apple. Round, toasty, medium finish. 4/21/8/4/3 +50 = 90 pts. Better than expected.

Gold color with aromas of buttery pineapple, crème brûlée, passion fruit, and mango. There's butter and oak on the palate, too, with notes of tropical fruit and moderate acidity. The finish has notes of piney resin—that mango thing again. This is a big, glossy wine, appealing to those who like the plush style of CA Chardonnay. 13.5% abv | sample

About 50% of this Chard comes from Russian River Valley, aged for 8 months in oak (18% new), pale lemon with aromas of stone and citrus fruits with floral and honey notes. On the palate flavors of peach and pears with honeysuckle, smooth with a creamy texture, lively acidity. Medium+ finish ending with fruit and slight toasty oak. Nice value!
